- Pompom Pets collects personal information to provide you with the products and services you request via our website. We only collect the information you choose to submit to us.
- Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for other important information governing your use of this website.
- Our Privacy Policy follows the requirements of the Privacy Act 2020.
- Pompom Pets does not rent, sell or distribute our customer information, unless it's necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, enforce an agreement, or protect our users' safety.
- Pompom Pets does not store your credit card details. All credit card purchases are processed through Stripe, a secure payment gateway.
Pompom Pets requests to sight your identification when you collect your order from our workshop to ensure the order is released to the right person and prevent fraudulent activities. We do not record or store your identification details physically or electronically.
- Pompom Pets representatives may enable video, photography and GPS tracking tools while delivering your order. Video is limited to dash camera footage recorded from the Pompom Pets vehicle. Photography is limited to pictures of your order successfully delivered to your door or chosen delivery location. GPS tracking is limited to devices within the Pompom Pets vehicle or enabled on Pompom Pets delivery representatives’ devices on person.
- The Pompom Pets workshop uses video surveillance on premises. CCTV footage is collected for security and theft prevention purposes only.
- Pompom Pets representatives will request your signature upon delivery of your order. This is to ensure the order contains the correct items, is released to the right person and to prevent fraudulent activities. We will store your signature in our records.
Who Can Access your Data
We do not rent, sell or distribute your data. We utilise third parties (Stripe and Zoho Corporation) to process your order and payment information.
Stripe does not disclose the location of their data centres used to process your payment transactions. Data you submitted to Pompom Pets will be stored in Zoho Corporation data centres in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
Your information is only used to provide you with our goods and services including, but not limited to processing your order, shipping, payment, refund, refurbishment, and replacement.
How You Can Control your Data
You can request information about your personal data we hold at any time. You can also request correction of your personal data. You can request erasure of any personal data processed by Pompom Pets at any time except for the following situations:
- You have an open order which has not yet been shipped.
- You have pending service or refund requests.
- You have an unsettled debt with Pompom Pets.
- You are suspected or have misused our services.
- You purchased our products. Your transactional data is required for bookkeeping purposes.
If you request erasure of any personal data, Pompom Pets will be unable to trace your previous purchases, and you may lose access to services we offer.
How You Can Make a Personal Information Request
Contact support@pompompets.co.nz from the original email address you used to make the purchase. We will not process personal information requests sent from other email addresses to protect customers from harmful actors. If you no longer have access to your email address and would like to submit a personal information request, please see us in store.
